Film Festivals are popping up all over. We’ll discuss the Festival experience, how to submit, what to expect and how to make the most of your experience. Our very own Ann Knerr has practical experience with both Tribeca and the local South Side Film Festival.

We will also be speaking with the founders of the very 1st Allentown Film Festival; Michael Schelp and Dr. Alan Younkin. This is your chance to get an inside look at the monumental task it is to create a festival where once there was none.

Michael Schelp has developed and executive produced numerous television series including MANswers on Spike TV, Blais Off on Discovery Science, Viking: the Ultimate Obstacle Course on ESPN, Reinventing the Meal on Cooking Channel and so much more.

Dr. Alan Younkin is the Chief Financial Officer of the Allentown Film Festival and as the owner and president of three corporations operating in multiple states, he brings a business understanding that really is necessary to make a large scale festival a success.

We will also be divulging information about 2 upcoming FIFO events; our first ever FIFO Field Trip and a little something we are calling “FIFO goes to the Movies”.
